Awakening

Lorena POV

My eyelids felt heavy as I struggled to keep my eyes open. I couldn't even breathe perfectly. It was as if someone was choking me. I tried to raise my hand but it felt stuck. "What is happening to me?" I wanted to shout that aloud so that people who were around me would hear and help me from whatever place I was stuck. I struggled to open my eyes after a moment and saw a blinding light. It was so bright that I closed my eyes and opened them again to adjust to the lighting. The smell of bleach was pungent and I had to scrunch my nose for a few seconds until I could finally breathe. I tried raising my hand I was able to.

"Where I'm I?" I asked myself because the last thing I remembered was getting hit by Madam and his Minions. "How did I survive?" I let my eyes roam around the room and noticed a body resting on the couch. His eyes were closed and he was snoring out loud. "Who is he?" I stared at him closely and raised my head.
