The Accident

My hands shook vigorously as I held the daisies. I was able to find them amidst the thorns. At first, I wanted to ignore Madam Ruth, but I had no option but to do her will. I spent hours looking among the thorns searching for the flowers and even when I was cut and bled tirelessly, I didn't give up and continued searching for Daisies. Giving up is never an option for someone like me, and I wanted to prove the Alpha king wrong.

I wasn't going to let him bully me.

“Hey!” I shouted and hit the door. “I found the daisies!” I announced. “Hey,” I tried to knock yet again, but I was grabbed by one of the hefty guards guarding the door and dragged outside. “What the hell is going on?” I asked him, but instead I was hit at the back of my neck, losing my consciousness in a blink of an eye.
