Calm

AURORA’S POV.

I stared at the pregnancy test strips in my right palm the minute I pulled them out of my back. The one I had stepped out yesterday to buy from the nearest pharmacy. However, I had to return here to boost my phone up before heading out of the house again. When I stepped out, I noticed that one of the cars wasn’t in the compound again and knew that only meant that Jax had gone. I was relieved that he didn’t inquire too much before leaving. Although by the time I came back last night, I wasn’t willing to use it just yet. I feared I might pass out if it were true because I had a lot of tension in my body. I had to wait and chill till the next day, today.

I sighed and stepped towards my restroom after I twisted my door lock so he wouldn’t walk in on me. It was early morning, and I had heard a rumor about it being more effective than the others.

I pulled a small bucket from where the buckets stood, about five to six. I was in no mood to count. I dragged it out and pulled down
