Isabella's POV

I rushed into the house, shutting the door behind me. There was no noise behind me, until I heard the sound of an engine rumble, followed by the car driving away, until it couldn't reach my ears anymore.

Giving a sigh, I looked around the empty space of the living room as dread filled me for what I knew I had to do.

There were still probably a few reasons why I kept it from Sierra, the same reasons which I explained to Agathe for her to keep my job and secret safe. But it all fell apart at his words.
