Isabella's POV

“And there you go,” I said, placing a now sleeping Treasure within his bed. It was surprising how much harder the task was, as he had grown heavier through the short period.

Almost two months had passed in the blink of an eye, and I continuously had to manage between being a teacher, working in the café, and managing my life at home with Treasure. Or at least, before.

During the past week, Damian had given me a surprise, by showing me what was now my personal office within the school. That was the tipping point I needed to finally talk to Anne. But I couldn’t have done it during that week, however. Afterall, she had just recovered from a cold several days ago. So as I shared barbs with Lola whilst working, I kept it in mind that I would deal with it the next week.

Now was the weekend, and I could finally rest. Anne decided to close the shop on Saturday, saying that we had worked far too much anyways. It left me with enough time to have had a good night's sleep, and be
