A send-off party.

ISABELLA

I straightened as I faced him. He donned a white shirt with dark slacks, his dark hair slightly out of place. Why was he here?

He looked away and I realized that I was still feeding Treasure. I angled myself slightly, so he didn't see a thing.

"What do you want?" I asked when he refused to leave.

"I came to apologize." His words were a shock, especially after not seeing him since then.

"For the way I acted the last time." He shuffled, and I could only watch. "I realized that I hadn't even gotten to know you before I began judging. If we could start over, probably on a fresh leaf, I would like to know you better." He finished.

If I could think any clearer, I would laugh at the irony that both siblings had somehow apologised to me in almost the same way. But at the moment, I could only stare at him in shock. What was I going to say? There were only two words which came to my mind at the moment, ironically the same words he had said the time that I apologised.
