Isabella's POV

After that day, I was technically out of the café, which meant that I had only one job. Every choice had an outcome, whether as a reward or a consequence, and it made all the difference only the day after.

It was surprising how only within the day, there was such an ease I never expected. Sierra told me that it was partly due to unfamiliarity.

"You've been working so much, it's a norm to you. Even back when you worked at the bar, you usually stayed up the whole day, daily. It's no surprise that now that you actually have a lot more time to breathe, you feel this way." She said.

Her words made every bit of sense, I thought as I nodded in tandem with her. Now that I was finally more at ease, the next day, I went to the Red Eclipse pack. It was not to teach, but to arrange the office that Damian gave me, a task long overdue. The place was barely a mess though. The small area was clean even though it was mostly bare, with some misplaced items here and there.
