Isabella's POV

The next few days remained the same. I woke up, went to the red eclipse pack, taught before leaving.

After what I had said, the people who looked at me within the school avoided eye contact. If they were truly ashamed, it was better.

My only solace during work were the children. Although I was the sole math teacher for all classes through elementary, it was never tasking, but rather the highlight of my day.

I was grateful for the pure minds of all the children, untainted by bias or prejudice. I hoped they stayed the same.

Aiden unfortunately didn't get the hint as he messaged me the night I gave him his phone. Short given answers were given in return until I couldn't even bother replying. He seemed to finally understand as after that day, was silence.

Time passed, and it was already a Friday. The school day had already ended, and everyone else left. I was packing the rest of my things to leave. Suddenly my office door opened to reveal Sierra.

Why was she here?
