Chapter 5

Leo's POV

I knew I shouldn't have said none of what I said to her. But I had to come in in a way she would believe that I don't love her. And besides, I'm not so sure I want to be with her because I'm scared of ending up with the same fate as her other mates. I had decided to take her with me so I can find out the cause and help her.

It was the time for us to leave for my pack, Moonlight Pack and I went to the hotel early. When I got there, Raya was also ready but she was not the usual Raya I know. She wouldn't talk to me but I ignored it as well. I helped her with her bags, we got into the car and drove off. We sat at the back of the car but she wouldn't even look at me or say a word.

"You should at least say something." I broke the silence but she glared at me.

"What do you want me to say? Thank you?"

"Okay! I'm sorry for how I acted the other time. Just let it go."

"It's fine. You acted exactly the way you should." She said and looked out the window.

The journey again was silent till we got to the pack. The maids helped with the bags while we went into the mansion. The maids showed her her room and she left. I decided to give her some time to settle in before I talk about the contact.

Later in the evening, I went knocking on Raya's door but the was she rolled her eyes when she saw me shows I was the last person she wanted to see. She opened the door and I walked further into the room, sat on the couch.

"I'm here so we can sign the document."

"Sure!" She answered sharply and brought the document out from her bag.

She handed me the document and pen after she had signed and I did the same.

"Now, you're mine." I thought as I stared at her beautiful skin.

"My brothers and their wives would be coming soon for dinner. Please, get ready."

"Okay, I will." She said and I left the room.

Raya's POV.

I watched the retreating figure leave my room and was confused if this man really loves me or it's all about the contact. I went to o my box and brought out a red, tight and short gown that Eric got me on one of his trip and wore it. Sounds of greetings could be heard from the living room; his brothers were here.

I looked at myself in the mirror, inhaled and exhaled deeply and stepped out of the room. As soon as I saw Leo's brothers, I felt a tingling sensation in my body; they are also my mates. I felt confused and surprised, especially with the way they stared at me but Leo came to my rescue.

"What's going on here? Why are you staring at my wife like that?" He asked them jokingly and kissed my lips which I welcomed it.

"The table is set, Alpha Leo." A maid said with a bow.

"Thanks, you can go."

She nodded and left. 

We headed to the table, Leo having a distant conversation with his brothers. Leo pulled out a seat for me beside him.

"Thanks." I mumbled as I sat down.

"Before we eat, let me quickly do the introduction." Leo started. "This is Grayson and Kane. Those are their wives, Maya and Alyssa." He continued.

"Nice to meet you all. I'm Raya." I said with a beaming smile.

We began to eat but I could notice that Gray and Kane wouldn't stop staring at me and this made their wives glared at me occasionally. I don't know his to explain to anyone of them. Dinner was soon over and I headed to my room but Leo followed me.

"What happened there? I said you can have another man, I never said my brothers." He said, slammed the door and I made a Sharp turn at him.

"Your brothers? You think I like them?......" He cut in.

"You don't like them? What was all that look fit? To seduce them?"

"I'm not here to seduce anyone. I'm here for the deal and nothing else. This would be our first night together, it would be best if you make it good for both of us."

"Sure! And speaking of our first night together, you will be sleeping in my room. I have to mark you as my mate." He swapped and left before I could utter a word.

"Mating me was never part of the plan. Does he really think I'm going to allow him to do that?" I thought.

A moment later, the maids came in and began to pack my bags. It was no pint asking them why or arguing with them so I allowed them do their thing.

"The Alpha wants you in the room, Luna." A maid said to me.

"Lead the way."

"Thank you. You may leave now." I said to the maid at the door and she left.

I opened the door, my eyes ransacked the room which was decorated for a newly wed; it was beautiful and I love every bit of it. I walked in slowly and Leo emerged from the back of the door, making me a bit startled.

"You're no longer a kid, Alpha." I said the last word in a very sarcastic way and rolled my eyes.

"None of that is important. What is important right now is that we are going to share a bed together."

"Yeah. About that. Don't you think it's going to be wrong."

"What's wrong? Mating with my mate?"

"Well, fortunately or unfortunately for you, your brothers are also my mates. I just want to ask for a favour, to spend a night each in their room...." His mood changed at the snap of a finger.

"Just kidding." I laughed.

"Let's go have a bath and sleep."

"Are you ready? Ready to die?"

"Sure, anything for you."

We took our bath and Leo went on to have sex with me. It was fun and the best I had had in a long time.

Suddenly, he began to shake vigorously. It was a sign of death.

Leo had brought a stain to my new life!
