Amelia's POV I was snuggled up in the library after asking one of the servants to clean it after the Kayla incident as Grayson was doing his Alpha duties before we left for this 'honeymoon' thing. I was casually catching up on my Harry Potter before I heard the slight knock on the library door. "Come in," I told whoever was at the door, it slowly opened revealing Grayson in an impeccably smart looking outfit. He wore a dark black button up shirt and black dress pants, with, of course, the matching black shoes. I was blessed with such a good looking mate. I smiled brightly, placing my book down and ran up to him, wrapping my arms around him and inhaling his scent. "It's been two hours since I last saw you," he chuckled lightly as he also embraced me by wrapping his arms around my waist. "Are you complaining?" I smirked, loving the feeling of his arms wrapped me, he made me feel very safe, protected at all times. "Never," he whispered, kissing my ear before retracting his hands aw
Amelia's POV I ran to my family, they were huddled together talking to some pack members and they were enjoying themselves. Grayson trailed behind me, his hand clasped into my own as I hurried towards them. Alia, Amy, Timmy and Johnny were playing with other wolves of their own age before they saw me, they all screamed, besides Johnny who didn't really care and ran towards me. Tears welled in my eyes as my hand slipped out of Grayson's to welcome my siblings in my arms. Alia was crying wildly, sobbing into my shoulder as she clutched onto my body, Amy and Timmy hugged me from the back, giggling wildly as they placed wet kisses on the back of my head. My parents seemed to notice my appearance and rushed to me, hugging me from both sides and I felt suffocated under their weight, but in that moment, I felt complete. I cried happy tears with them, no words spoken as we just hugged each other until we couldn't breathe. Before we knew it, Johnny managed to crawl this way and plop himself
Amelia's POV My mother was someone who would speak her mind if it meant protecting the ones she loved. Right now was the perfect example. She held confidence as if she was born a Luna, Grayson's gaze and everyone else's stares were directed to my family, who, besides my mother and father, looked around cautiously. My breath hitched in my throat as I saw Grayson's family looking towards my family, obviously not liking the disrespect my mother was giving to Gray who was trying hard not snap. His grip on my shoulder was almost painful as his elongated nails turned into small claws. I bit my lip, trying not to gasp in pain. The air was thick with tension, if it tension was a real thing, I could cut it with a sharp knife. I stared at my mother who sat up straight, looking Grayson in the eye as an act of defiance. She could've been seriously hurt if he was not my mate, he was holding on to the last string of restraint that he had, me. He hurts my family, I will never speak to him again,
Amelia's POV The vacation that Grayson and I were supposed to take had been postponed to next week due to my family being here instead of back in my old pack. It's been three days since the incident and I couldn't shake off the guilty feeling that latched onto me since that afternoon. I felt heavy everywhere as if something was heavy against my body and I couldn't rid of the memories of my mother's disappointed face. I felt utterly depressed when I should be happy, Grayson had been trying to put a smile on my face, but his attempts were in vain as I only managed to give him a fake smile, and that hurt me even more. The day after the incident he surprised me with a bunch of white roses, his attempt to cheer me up only brought a small smile to my face and a kiss. It sat in my room, every time I looked at it, I felt even more terrible for not reacting happier or bubbler. But, it made me realise he was trying, so at least I should be trying too. It did make me feel alright when he'd co
Amelia's POV "What do you want Amelia?" my mother stressed out as she sat on the bed with my father as I sat across from her on a small stool. I bit my lip, trying to get together a sentence before staring at them with guilt behind my eyes. "I'm here to apologise for not at least contacting you after everything that has happened, I honestly feel so terrible," I confessed trying not to look at them in the eyes, it was hard to look at my mother's disappointment when she was sitting a few feet away. "I just can't believe you didn't at least call, after everything we and your siblings have been through, we thought you'd at least try to contact us. We would've understood if you have been running away, but when you had the chance, that's just selfish," my father spat out, his hands forming tight fists as my mother rested her hand on his thigh. "I know it was selfish of me to not call you, but I couldn't face you guys. I could visibly see Johnny and Alia almost strangled to death. How d
Amelia's POVEverything was a blur for the past few days, some of the highest-ranking Alpha's were coming to our pack for a wild celebration where the unmated may find their mates. It happened every year on the same day where the moon will be full and the goddess will bless many wolves with their mates and every year, I never found mine. Call me cruel, but I wouldn't particularly mind not having a mate, I mean with all the 'mine' type of scenario's, I rather not let my life turn into a cliche movie. I was perfectly fine with the life I lived, I mean I had my mum and my dad, and my younger siblings as well as a job at the library around the corner, what more would I want?So every year when the Alpha's and the unmated come to our pack, the West Pack, I would go to the library and hide there until it's all over because let's face it, I don't like big events. Honestly, being in a big crowd of hormonal people just kinda sucks, plus the smell of arousals would fill the air is kind of distu
Amelia's POVThe night was full, everything and everyone were here. The music played in the background as everyone chatted amongst themselves in a delightful and happy matter. I watched how many couples found their mates within a few seconds and enveloped them in their arms, or in other cases, being dragged away in a rush to mate. The smell of arousals hit me like a ton of bricks, my wolf calling out to me as she was like the many others, searching for their mate.Alia was gripping onto my arm when we arrived and instantly, I could tell she had found her mate, her eyes glazed over and her nose pointed up to the air. She immediately let go of my arms and went into the crowd, disappearing from sight. I almost called out her name, but stopped myself from distracting her and looked around. In the distance, I heard some wolves had howled during the night and some Alphas introduced their newly found mate to the whole audience, but I could tell that in some of the girl's faces, they dreaded
Grayson's POVI've been blind for as long as I can remember, my mother and father told me that I've been cursed by a witch, who strongly disliked Alphas and had a long feud the werewolf world. The witch, who I never knew, thought that all Alphas were possessive and always wanted what was theirs, never sharing, so she cursed us, thinking that Alphas could never love, she made me blind so I could never see my mate and be vulnerable to the world. The only way to regain my sight, is for someone, preferably my mate, to tell me she loved me and meant it, not because of the mate bond, but loved me with all her heart and all her soul, she was to love me for me, not because of my status. Being 25, you'd think I would have found her, but sadly, I haven't, nor did I have the time.I never had time for it, every time the West Pack, would host the 'unmated' ceremonies, parties or gatherings, but I would not attend to them. I was a blind Alpha, and that made me vulnerable, it was my disadvantage, c
