Third Person's POV All eyes were on the infamous pair. Grayson's stance was stiff, his eyes zoning on every family member, trying to see if any of them would protest of what would happen, challenging to speak up to the Alpha. But, none had spoken, their tails tucked underneath them as their necks were being pointed towards him, showing submission and he breathed out in triumph. His eyes went over to Amelia who painfully clutched his left hand to the point he could not even feel it, orange pursued within her showing how tense she was, how uncomfortable she was and the faintest of blue which indicated her sadness. His heart jerked at the sight of her, his wolf pleading to comfort her, but he knew it would make matters worse if he was to do that in front of everyone. Everyone was too uncomfortable and the air was thick to do something so calming. "Dinner's dismissed, sorry," he told everyone and stood up quickly, tugging on Amelia's hand as an indication to follow him. She took the h
Grayson's POV My family sat in my office, my sister next to my parents and my brother who seemed to understand what would be happening. They all looked at me expectedly, their eyes trained on me, waiting for something to happen. Kayla's gaze was hard, she was tense. Her hormones practically leeched out of her, she was quite mad for someone who woke up pretty early in the morning, she was a morning person. My mother and father were looking at me curiously, but their gazes were solely on me and I could see the annoyance for waking up earlier than when they should be awake, but this matter was too urgent to not happen later. "What all of you did yesterday was unacceptable, Mitchell, you of all people should've at least said something. Kayla, you were out of line and mother, father, you too." I told them with command laced in my voice. Kayla was fidgeting in her seat afterwards, her hard gaze still remained on me as my mother and father nodded ever so slowly. "But brother, she-" Ka
Amelia's POV I went downstairs after I took a shower, the worry was still settled in the pit of my stomach as I somehow found my way to the kitchen dressed in grey sweatpants that hung low on my lips and a thin white long-sleeved shirt which had revealed the outline of my bra until I put a singlet underneath it. I took a deep breath in as pushed the doors open where I saw a couple of the maids tending to the breakfast for the day. The dining room, open kitchen and the living room were being taken over by the smell of fried meat and freshly made bread which was baking in the oven. Once the maids saw me they bowed in respect and I did the same and they continued on preparing for the family's arrival. I sat on one of the seats next to the kitchen where I just observed the maids from afar as they cooked and cleaned. There were about four maids for the day, and I had yet to learn their names. They were a constant in this room and I liked to see some regularity in my day as I visited the
Amelia's POV Breakfast was uneventful, I decided to avoid the family who was talking amongst themselves as Grayson had sat next to me on one of the seats in the kitchen stroking my thigh in comfort as we ate breakfast silently. It felt good to have a day without any drama, Grayson would be leaving later in the day so I wanted to show him all my training before he did so. After breakfast, I took his hand and tugged him through the hallways and into our bedroom where I told him to sit and wait for me so he could watch me train. He gave me a bright smile before I headed into the bathroom and changed into my training gear which consisted of an olive tank top and slim black leggings. I went back into the room where he was casually sitting on my bed staring at nothing, but until his eyes landed on me, his pearly white teeth were shown through a smile. I knew he couldn't see what I was wearing, but I still felt self-conscious under his stare. He stood up and slowly walked up to me and wra
Amelia's POV Missing someone has always been easy for me, it was like a dull ache whenever I thought of them, like my friends I had left in my old pack. I know it was selfish of me to only miss them a tiny bit, I missed my family more and, well, Grayson is a totally different case. Every time I thought of him, I felt like something was missing as if a piece of my body was yearning for something which was miles away. My heart would always have a burning sensation whenever I thought of him and as time went by, I felt myself becoming more depressed without him. He had become a drug that I haven't taken in ages. I had finally accepted his past and who he was as a person, and now the bond was repairing itself accordingly. My mark had finally turned back to what it should've been, it had looked like two puncture holes which had sealed up and every time I had touched it, a wave of happiness had bubbled over me. I felt good to have a reminder of him, granted the way it was conceived wasn'
Grayson's POV "She's actually going out with Kayla and her friends right now, do not fret my child, she will be okay," my mother said on the phone, her voice soothing me from my worries of Kayla planning something. I inhaled deeply, brushing my hair back as I leant against the wall with the phone pressed to my ear. I was glad Kayla was trying, happy even. "Thank you mother, I'm glad Kayla is trying, how are you going?" I asked her, remembering my manners as a few people had passed me, eyeing me down as I spoke into the phone. I lowly growled at them. "Your father and I are doing quite fine, how is therapy going?" she replied, keeping the conversation light and free flowing. I smiled, knowing how well it seemed. I was doing quite well, my anger issues were diminishing and I was having almost full control over my wolf. Things were finally brightening up for me and it meant that Irene and I could sort out our issues better, I was really happy. "Perfect, just a couple more weeks moth
Amelia's POV I didn't really like shopping, to be honest, I was carrying three bags filled with clothes and more than half weren't even my own. The three girls who seemed unaffected by two hours of non-stop shopping were happily conversing about the latest trend as well as holding four bags, two on each arm as they were being followed by three warriors and I. I huffed out a breath, the three guards beside me were watching me curiously as they too, held three bags filled with clothes. One even offered to hold the bags, but I declined, noticing how much bags were on his own arms. We should've brought a trolley. "Amelia! There's a cute dress over in that shop that I know would look good on you!" One of Kayla's friends giggled out, coming over to grab my arm and guide me to the store where a pretty white dress was being showcased on a mannequin. It landed mid thigh and had a very Goddess like a look, with its lace overlapping the white fabric and some skin being shown in the tummy area
Amelia's POV "Oh Goddess, I'm so, so sorry" the guy who held a cup which was empty of the liquid which was the same colour and smell of the smoothie which was poured onto us. The guy was blushing quite hard as the friends behind him were snickering in her background, we were fine, but the warriors who were watching over us stood up and grabbed the poor guy, restricting him from movement. Kayla was blushing quite hard at this point, cleaning up the smoothie which laid on her shirt as her friends groaned out in annoyance and rushed to the bathroom. The guy was looking at Kayla with wide eyes as she threw a sympathetic glance at his way as she cleaned herself up. "Tobias, let him go, he didn't do anything wrong," she commanded them and instantly the warrior's hands dropped from the guy and sat back down. He was quite attractive, light brown hair which kind of spiked up in a nice wave, thick eyebrows and bright blue eyes. He had a few moles on his face, bright pink lips and a slightly
