Chapter Nintey-Six

Olivia's POV

“No. Your wife and I were just talking. She was telling me of an old ridiculous story which has no meaning” she replied and laughed.

What?

“Really?” Kurt asked in surprise.

“Are you guys that close already?”

“Yeah – to be sincere, your wife is so much fun to be with – especially with the funny story she told me,” she said and threw a glance at me.

What the hell?

“Hm,” Kurt mumbled and took in a slice of plantain.

“Hmmm. I love finger foods. I like how good you made them. It wow!” he complimented with relish as he almost ate with his eyes closed.

“Thank you!” The lady exclaimed happily, giving an ugly smile that revealed all her teeth.

He took in another bite of the slider and nodded while eating it. I could feel my cheeks turning hot red.

“This is good” he complimented, nodding like a lizard.

“Oh, my! Thank you so much!!”

I turned around and left the kitchen, angrily.

As soon as I got outside, I brought out my phone and started going through my contacts. I need to stop th
