Chapter 112

Alessia's POV

I pulled my lower lip in, trying to keep myself steady. My eyes kept lingering on the dimly lit street from the gate, expecting to see him already making his way down to me.

I heard someone clear their throat behind me, I don't need to look back to find out who it is. He snort behind me.

"Aren't you still going to tell me why you are out here looking out the gate at this time of the night?" Allen queried behind me.

I groaned inwardly, "can you just let me be, please."

My mood has been sour for a whole week and I have ignored everybody else in the house except Allen. I like for a fact that none of them tried to talk to me. My mum for the first time since I have known her seem to respect my privacy this time around and not try to boss me around on how I am suppose to feel.
