Author's POV

Ryan's eyes almost jutted out their sockets when he saw Tom lifeless on the floor. He had thought it was a joke when he had gotten a call from the frat to inform him of Tom's death. It seem so surreal.

"You did this to cover for you and your family right?" Brian was the first to flare up, his usual way of acting.

Jordan cut him a glare, "don't say something you might regret Brian. Ryan how did this happen?"

Staring in disbelief, Ryan chuckled. "You all must really think I am this stupid. Why would I do this? It's obvious there is someone among us who is doing all of this and trying to pin it on me. And I can tell who is trying to mess around with me."

Brian's heart thumped at that, he feared Ryan might have found out about his constant meeting with his wife. His palm became sweaty when Ryan's eyes lingered on him. "Don't give me that look." He muttered hurriedly.

"Why? Are you the one making things up?" Ryan retorted.

"Does one make death up?" Brian threw back at him
