Arsen was sitting in Damien’s office watching his friend. Elders had been pressuring about seeking a Luna and files and files of Alpha daughters from city and rural clans were piled up somewhere in that office.
Arsen himself wouldn’t mind marrying some of them. Cream of the crop. Some were known sluts, some plain dumb, some had been hunting for a rich Alpha for a long time, but mainly it was beautiful, high-class, educated and pleasant women. At least on the surface. But his friend had so far postponed looking through the files or setting up anything.
“Andre King has been back for a few days,” Arsen informed lazily. “Stephan Keght’s family has been making enough noise about not having his body. Ever since we sent the notice about him being executed on our territory, some Alphas have been trying to stir trouble.
