Chapter 44 – Strange makeup artist

Jessie’s POV

Jessie was perplexed by this woman, but she allowed her to enter her palace and step into her sitting room. She has an odd look to her; her curly blonde hair hung wildly around her features. Her eyes were so dark that they were nearly black, and yet there was a glimmer of gold around her pupils. Her skin was fair and yet so flawless like a porcelain doll. She wore a light purple blouse and a short skirt that hugged her perfectly formed thighs. Her clothing left no mystery of her figure.

She isn’t sure what friend would refer this woman to her, but she’s holding a makeup bag and assumed she’s here to sell her makeup product. The woman sat properly on Jessie’s couch, placing her leg over the other one, and set her makeup bag on the table.

“I’m sorry to be so forward and to just stop by like this, your highness,” she says in an accent that Jessie can’t put together. “My name is Elise; I run a small boutique in the city. It’s a new boutique and it doesn’t get a lot of busines
