Mayor’s POV:

"Why did you have to traumatize her?" I raised my face slowly just to look him in the eyes. He got to see the rage in my eyes, and it shuddered his body.

"Please, it was not my fault," he begged again, probably shitting his pants just by staring into my eyes.

"Shushhhhhh," I hushed him shut, putting pressure on closing my eyes, "Exactly, it’s not your fault. Anyone will fall in love with her. So whatever you did was not your fault." I said, and watching me agree with him made him relax a bit. I saw a smile appear on his face, and I actually felt bad for him. This poor guy had been through a lot, and it wasn’t his fault either.
