Chapter sixteen
Writer's POV
Beth snapped her eyes back to Christian's, just in time to catch his eyes. Eyes that had been on her all those while she had been lost in her thoughts. He had watched her in silence, and she wanted to know what was going on in his mind as well. But he wasn't staring at her like he wanted to sleep with her. He was looking at her with care. Like she was someone who had a special place in his heart.
She saw his hand moving, and then he placed it untop hers.
She wondered why he did that. Because he was beginning to make her things she didn't want to feel. Things only Pete made her feel. But this time, Christian's was different, and she was afraid it was stronger as well.
Beth gave him a curious look, wordlessly asking him what he was up to. But Christian chose to remain silent, and then caressed her hand. Making her feeling the heat that was radiating from his warm big paw.

Writer's POVAnd so the day came, and Christian was singing on his usual spot on that faithful day.Beth was sitted on the chair, admiring him as he sang. As usual, he was looking really good in his crazy blue jeans, and grey sweatshirt. He had his hair packed up in a bun, and was looking so happy and carefree that Beth felt her eyes stinging with tears. She was not going to see him again, and even if they would see, it would be a long time from now. They still had so much ahead of them. And were still very young. Writer's POVThe way Christian sang, it reminded Beth of how her dad use to sing her songs. And it made part of her heart swell with even more love for him. While the other part was filled with hurt. Writer's POV"Why did you lie?" Christian asked, increasing the pace of his thrusts, making Beth moan in helpless abandon."I...uh..."
