Problems

“Hope, how did you do that? It's impossible to talk to him, and I almost called to tell you not to come, and...it happens” Armin ran a hand through his hair nervously, and rightly. It was midnight, by this time he should have been in his bed, asleep. However, he was at the station with two lawyers trying to clean up her employee and her friend.

“I definitely didn't know anything, and even if I wanted to, how would I hold it him? It was impossible! I'm the victim of this story!” Hope still felt the adrenaline in his body, his hands were cold. Her jaw hurt so much her repeated the same words, was sitting in the same interrogation room as her was when interviewed Castiel over two hours ago.

And this time, it was Hope who had handcuffs around his wrists.

“You kissed him, Hope.” Armin said, deadpan and accusatory.

“He was in front of me and with a gun!” The journalist slammed her chained hands against the metal table, sounding a dry echo “And he kissed me!”

“I'm doing what I can, but the biggest mobster in the country just got away and unfortunately it was just you with him…” the older sipped his bitter coffee and looked back at the friend, who looked to be finished in and out. He put his nerves aside and softened his voice “I know it's not your fault, it was poor prison security, we have recordings and footage. They will take it away from you.” He pointed to the metal on the girl's wrist.

“Thanks for taking Julie home, I didn't think she would be here so late.” The journalist sniffed as she remembered the sister, he expected to find asleep when he got home. Would never say anything about this crazy mess he got himself into, and in your heart of hearts hoped the camera footage didn't leak, and that was the cops' responsibility.

He heard voices and footsteps approaching along the corridor that didn't take long to appear at the entrance to the room, a detective ran his hands over the joints left over from the door, analyzing.

“It's okay, they can't keep you here anymore.” One of the lawyers said and pointed to a police officer who approached and removed the journalist's handcuffs. “There is nothing to link you to Castiel Reed's escape. After reviewing the tapes and the tape recorder, we know that it was someone inside who helped him escape and the police apologize for keeping her here for so long.” said.

Hope felt relieved to finally have his hands free, she wasn't a criminal to be treated like this, her mistake was just witnessing one escape.

He got up, fixing his professional posture and shook hands with those present in the room, saying goodbye formally and headed for the exit, swearing that he would never pass in front of a prison or even close to a police station.

Hope opened the door of his apartment at exactly 1:20 am, she was tired, sad, worried and even feeling a little humiliated because he was suspected of helping a mobster. Never thought in his life that he would go through something like this, not even in your worst nightmares.

Even with the lights off, the journalist crossed her living room and threw himself against the sofa, throwing himself at once, completely defeated. It felt like his life had been turned upside down in a single night, but it was inevitable, what else could she do? She was just a docile civilian at the wrong time in the wrong place.

And there was the kiss... She liked that kiss. She felt so stupid for going getting involved with that bastard's mouth, the lure feeling was still clinging to his skin, and didn't know what to do with it. It was exciting for someone with a life as quiet as her to experience a scene worthy of an action movie, and even more so for someone like Reed to be interested in an ordinary journalist with an accumulation of rules.

She closed his eyes and ran his hands through his hair trying to comfort himself, a caress she was used to when she felt completely alone, he went down to his ear and went up to the lobe until he reached the piercing. His heart skipped a beat when he realized that the earring was not where it should be, he ran his hand again to confirm and felt only the holes drilled.

Hope ran her hands through her short hair, trying to see if they were trapped there, but found nothing.

Hope sat up, feeling the pressure spreading in his chest, not believing that his earring wasn't in his ear, and it went through her memory and it didn't register the time her took the jewelry from his earlobe. Her spine froze remembering the moment when Castiel got too close to his face and breathed in his ear, she couldn't feel any invasive movement at the moment, but she couldn't distinguish the quick actions that Castiel took At that moment.

Is that how he got away? So, in effect, Hope opened up the possibility for Castiel.

The journalist's hands were still on her ear, morally martyring himself for actually helping a criminal escape, even without intention. His heart was beating so fast, and desperation took over his trembling body, and without thinking too much about it, she reached into his coat pocket for his cell phone and dialed Armin's number. She needed to tell someone, it wouldn't feel good if she kept this information a secret, was not go to sleep at night.

The cell phone initiated the call but went to voicemail and assumed her boss was already asleep. His living room was dark, but with the light coming from the streetlamps, Hope got nervously to his feet, dialed the number again and waited impatiently, pacing back and forth, shuffling his feet on the carpet. Suddenly she heard a noise coming from her sister's room and found it odd to check the time, she wasn't used to staying awake at that time.

She was walking down the hall slowly and the voice on the cell phone said that her went back to the electronic message, typed the number again, needed to tell someone about this. He stopped in front of his sister's room, noticing that the door was open and with the lights completely off, Hope pushed the wood and ran his hand along the wall looking for the switch, because he didn't see anything. When he finally managed to turn on the light at the same moment, he dropped the cell phone and put his hands to his mouth, horrified by the scene that was in front of her, not believing her eyes.

Julie was red in the face and weeping, she had a gag in her mouth so well-made that the girl couldn't let out a single murmur, her hands were tied behind the chair where she sat and to her right was a big, stout man, his face he was covered in a hideous Halloween mask and had a gun pointed at the girl's head.

Hope took a step forward with teary eyes, she didn't understand what was going on, and her first reaction was to go to her sister's aid who was desperately trying to say something.

She felt a very strong and accurate blow on the back of her head, which knocked her to the ground, time seems to have passed in slow motion, she blinked slowly and felt the cold porcelain floor under her body and before she lost consciousness, she managed to hear the Armin's voice on his cell phone, but couldn't make out what he was saying.
