AMANDA'S POV👄

I enter the penthouse, it’s dark and quiet so I guess everyone has gone to bed.

It’s very late now, I had stayed back because I thought I could catch up with that shadow and confirm if he was really Danteson.

But unfortunately I lost him. I rushed upstairs to mine and Milan’s room.

I open the door and step in hoping to find Milan already asleep, but my little boy was sitting on the bed playing with Mike.

“Milan?” I called him in a sing song tone.

“Mom!!” He exclaims happily when he sees me.

He stands up from the bed and stretch out his hands for me to carry him.

“Milan, it’s way past your bedtime. Why are you still awake? Didn’t Gigi tuck you in bed?”

“She did and I was sleeping, but uncle started beating Gigi and she started screaming” he paused and look at Mike, throwing him a harsh glare. “So, I went to save her”

I turn to Mike with a deep frown.

“Mike? What happened? Why did you beat Gigi?”

“I didn’t beat her” Mike defend himself.

“You did! I saw you! You were sweat
