Bella’s Pov

“Don’t move or you will regret it.” Dr. Hickory declared as the man that was in front of me pulled out a needle.

I would’ve never thought that Dr. Hickory was this shady. I knew he was not the best brain doctor but I didn’t see him as a thug. Threatening a woman with a big buff guy in a suit seemed below him.

The man that had the needle in his hands seemed to be almost emotionless. His eyes seemed to be a black hole and his posture was a little of the rough side. He seemed like he should be a security guard somewhere shady.

I looked at all the witnesses that were clearly watching this mess unfold and narrowed my eyes. “Is nobody going to help me with these thugs?” I asked in frustration.

Clearly they were thugs and unless everyone in here was a thug someone should’ve already called for help. I knew I couldn’t ask Lucas for help because he had hired these thugs.
