Suffocating

Bella’s Pov

I walked into the dining hall and everyone turned towards me in surprise. I ignored them as sat down at the other side of the table away from everyone.

“I’m glad you decided to join us.” Danny stated causing me to involuntarily look at him. He smiled softly at me like me being here made his day.

I ignored him and instead looked down at the white table cloth. I may have cooled down but that only was because I had locked myself away all day. I had time to meditate and think about my life in a way that I never had before.

If not for my stomach pain that indicated that I needed to eat I would’ve never came down here. They didn’t realize the damage they caused and by the time they did it would be too late.

Dishes were set in front of each of us and a few maids made their way around the table with tonight’s supper. My brows furrowed as they each carried a pot around instead of just setting the already made dish down like they always did.
