Bella’s Pov

I was exhausted and couldn’t keep my head up no matter how hard I tried. I was suppose to do the physical with a full stomach but they had put me through every single test without even a bite of food to hold me over.

“Okay last one.” The man next to me said as my head was lifted up causing me to open up my eyes. The device he was holding tried to scan my eyes but because I had blinked it restarted. I furrowed my brows as I realized I forgot about this test.

Even as my mind begged for me to let it rest I knew that this was the only opportunity to fight back. Each test had a time limit and the eye scan only gave me 3 minutes.

My grandfather had purposely did it last because all the other tests could be forced while this one was the hardest because I had to willingly open up my eyes for it to work right. If I fought to close my eyes it wouldn’t scan but If I opened my eyes by choice it scanned within seconds.

“Hurry up she only has 3 minutes from the time you start it.
