Bella’s Pov The constant grumble of my stomach had Lucas’s gaze turning deadly. I couldn’t deny that he was angry because he had yet to look away from me which had me feeling flushed. Bella’s Pov The security guard grabbed my chin and lifted up my face causing me to narrow my eyes. “Mrs. Connery?” He asked in surprise. My brows furrowed as I stared at him in confusion. “How do you know who I am?” I asked in suspicious. I moved his hand away from my chin as I stared at him with knitted brows that he ignored. He looked over and grabbed the little hand scanner that I had to do earlier and turned back towards me. My hand was grabbed and put on the scanner without him bothering to ask for permission. I decided to not bother yelling at him since he given me an opportunity to escape. After a couple of seconds the device dinged and showed a picture of me with my name on it. Bella’s Pov It felt like the life inside of me had been stolen as I recalled every event from the past few days. Every part of his brain was running to its full extent without any interference but that meant nothing if Bella was broken. How had I made such a huge mistake and not realized that someone had sabotaged Roberts work? I had been on top of everything but this and now Bella was hurting because of it.
