Bella’s Pov

A grumble left me as I looked over at Lucas as he relaxed in the examination chair. He reached forward and tapped the monitor that was in front of him with ease.

“I didn’t get my own monitor.” I mumbled to myself. I had someone that held any equipment that I had to touch and none of it looked like a computer screen.

His test seemed to be longer than mine because we both started at the same time and he was still doing it even though I had been done awhile ago.

When they said a physical I assumed it would be at a doctors office where we would have to see a doctor. Not at the company where we would have to do a whole bunch of painful tests that would take away all my energy.

“Here.” Danny mumbled from the chair next to me. I looked over at him with narrowed eyes that I couldn’t hide now that I was annoyed because of being drained by a stupid test. He gestured with his eyes to his hand.
