My brows furrowed as I stared at him in confusion. “How do you know who I am?” I asked in suspicious. I moved his hand away from my chin as I stared at him with knitted brows that he ignored. He looked over and grabbed the little hand scanner that I had to do earlier and turned back towards me. My hand was grabbed and put on the scanner without him bothering to ask for permission. A growl of frustration left me as I stared at Lucas’s test results refusing to look at my tablet screen. Lucas’s mind was perfectly intact. Every part of his brain was running to its full extent without any interference but that meant nothing if Bella was broken. How had I made such a huge mistake and not realized that someone had sabotaged Roberts work? I had been on top of everything but this and now Bella was hurting because of it. Had I known that Bella actually didn’t get her memories fully erased than I would’ve done things differently. One of them being having a fake brain scan for her. She would’ve gotten her Memories back by the time it was done and felt loved by her grandfather.
