It was the other guy.
Somehow, he had managed to get up, found a rope, and was strangling me with it.
He applied pressure on it with force, to stop my breathing. Something which made my brain feel chilly, and rendered my body quite numb.
The guy used all his might to cause strangulation on my neck, as the sound of him gritting his teeth could be heard.
There was no way I could call for help, or help my self. Everything about me was mentally held captive, because the supply of oxygen into my lungs, was being hindered with him tightening his grip on the rope around my neck. Choking me to the extent, that I could feel my eye balls creasing right into their sockets.
His companion who I had been beating earlier, tried to stand but his leg was in a bad shape. So he crawled away from underneath me, so he could catch his breath.

My name is Mercury Roderick. I have been mute since childhood. I was told by my mom that I didn't cry like other babies when she put me to bed.
