LONDON, ENGLAND: CHARLIE’S POV

“My apologies. We got held back due to the sudden change in the weather.” I apologized when my family and I arrived in the dining-room of the Taylor mansion.

Everyone was staring, no, glaring at Sabrina who was clinging to me like a leech. Trust me, I didn’t want to bring her but she somehow found out about the arranged marriage. So I was like: ‘why not’, when she literally begged me to bring her along.

I ignored the glares and took a seat opposite my supposed Fiancée, after I had pulled a chair for Sabrina like the gentleman I was. As our parents were discussing the marriage and merger I took the time to glance around.

I smirked knowingly when I noticed Soledad and Jack flirting with each other, and Carlisle and Esme already eye raping each other.

I spotted an empty seat near Esme which made me wonder if we were expecting another guest.

“Are we waiting for someone?” I asked while gesturing to the empty seat.

“No. It was my brother’s seat.” Renée replied
