[3rd POV—Damon] “Shit!”Damon swiftly caught Cara before she could fall to the floor, grunting as most of her weight landed on his wounded arm.Apparently, she had cut him deep, and the wound ran down from his elbow, slashing down just the cuff to his wrist. He knew that it wasn’t her intention to hurt him physically, even though she was carelessly brandishing the knife in front of her just to threaten him. She figured it out too soon, and Davien called him too late about his encounter with Nancy this morning.
