Tale 49: Dilemma

“Oh, my… how can you buy these things?!” Rynier exclaimed after he saw the sanitary pads that Rai bought.

Rai, upon hearing what his elder brother said and seeing his elder brother’s expression, felt a headache coming to him. “Brother…” he called. But, Rynier cut him off.

“You could have let the butler buy them for you!” Rynier told Rai.

Rai paused, then fell silent. He looked at the butler who nodded at him with his gaze full of encouragement. “… okay. I will let them buy it next time.” He said. “But… I was with Shane when I bought these, and he was the one who chose them for me.” He told Rynier.

“Oh, so it was Shane.” Rynier muttered and nodded in understanding. “Well, he is a straight A student and thus always prepared for everything. It’s good, it’s good.” He muttered. “I will definitely let him have an easier night schedule for his studies… tell the teachers to be easier on him.” He said.

“Thank you, brother.” Rai smiled at Rynier.
