Chapter 31: Abode of the kings

Charlotte Hayes' POV

The Étienne's Mansion—a great abode for the wealthy Étienne family. The Étienne family has thousands of mansions surrounding the world; and this mansion was one of those minor abodes of the wealthy family. I looked at the building with a rather shocked expression on how gigantic it is despite the fact that it's just a minor mansion for them.

I can't help but to wonder how great and big the main mansion is. Damien suddenly walked behind me, and gave me a peck on the cheek. "Love that? It's our future home," he said, wrapping his thick arms on my thin waist.

The moment we entered the lovely mansion, we were greeted by a bunch of maids who bowed to our presence in unison. I felt like someone, a noble at this point. Damien continued to hold my hand, as we walked to the lengthy hallway.

Truly, my eyes were fixed on the mansion' surroundings; the beautiful paintings on the wall, the scent of flowers overflowing the hall, and the luxurious appearance of the mansion. I c
