A Frustration
The dragon that stood before me was panting as its legs seemed to be concrete; the shadowed bindings making him unable to twitch. He ground his teeth together slightly as he let his rage pool off of him. I stared at his magnificent form. Despite the fact that he probably wanted to bite my head off, he was absolutely beautiful. I slowly found my footing out of reach, carefully moving around him as I looked over him. His wings were folded close to his body, the long lizard tail swishing back and forth like a cat does when it's annoyed. It was truly, a remarkable sight.
"If you weren't so scary lookin' right now, I would want to pet you." He jumped a little at my words and finally actually looked at me. As if he was seeing someone entirely different before. A deep grumble came as the only reply I would receive, his head turning away from me. "What...were you thinking about?"

Mistakes of the Past Rage Quit
It's been about a week since I last saw Shobek. It had to of been at least five days I think. It's hard to tell if it's day or night but his whole house seems to just automatically turn off all the unnecessary lights when it reaches a range of nighttime. If you wanted a certain light on, you had to go to the switch and flip it. It was a pretty neat idea but I wasn't sure if it was accurate, regardless, I've adjusted my whole lifestyle to it. The only times I know Shobek is still alive are when I hear him cursing at something in a game or when I suddenly hear rummaging outside my room in the kitchen in the middle of the night. I did try to catch him while he was on a hunt for food but when I saw him stalk past the hall, he looked more like a demon than ever before. Even though he held the corner of a chip bag in his mouth and was juggling a jar of dip and two different cans of some kind of energy drink, the way his eyes looked was nearly horrifying.

(Shobek's POV) I slowly looked around, the release of my tension was everywhere. I glanced down at myself and grimaced at the black blood that coated me. I sighed and rolled my shoulders back, noticing the sound of quick and quiet footsteps on the ramp. I faintly remembered passing her, I looked back at my mess and frowned. "Oops." I sighed and kicked a limb out of my way as I sauntered towards my bathroom. I'll have to clean all of that up by hand if my powers haven't replenished by the time I finish my bath. Shobek wandered to the kitchen, Kasey still making some food. He glanced at what she had decided on and almost laughed. "What?" Kasey turned a sharp eye on Shobek, scowling at the young boy. "Frozen tenders and fries?" Shobek smiled mockingly, "it's funny how a little kid can cook better than an adult." Kasey scoffed, "little kid my butt." She carefully slid the pan into the oven and closed the door. She turned back and peered behind Shobek, "did you end up killing him?" "Sadly, I refrained from doing so. The house was strangely quiet as I snuck out of my room. It had only been a couple of minutes since I heard the two men stomping away. Where they went was beyond me; I just wanted to get a drink and something sweet before returning to my new habit of being a recluse. My steps were light as I reached the halfway point in the living room. I paused and glanced around suspiciously. A glass of milk sat on the small table beside the couch along with the tv remote. I glanced at the channel that was on and frowned. It seemed to be a news station that was showing images of a developing fire. My stomach churned as I realized there were crucified people screaming in the midst of the flames. I quickly grabbed the remote and turned the TV off, the sight I saw earlier with Shobek ripping the monsters apart was already threatening my appetite. The two men continued to bark orders to the young women that continuously threw punches at the dummy. Left, right, left left, right, and kick. Kasey's limbs were starting to protest and give in as the exhaustion sept through. Digging into her muscles as she again listened to her coaches. "Keep your knees slightly bent. Elbows in!" Apophis repeated. Kasey felt her shoulders start to droop as she came close to calling quits. They've been at it all morning. What the hell is wrong with these guys? Why were they pushing so hard for her to train? By this point, Kasey tuned out Apophis as she again did the sequence he had shown her this morning. The two figures flew for a couple of hours, the thin feminine body clutched tightly to the form of the gentlemen. Kasey's clothing did little against the cold wind. Had she known this would've happened, she wouldn't have worn some gym shorts and a tank top. The freezing cold air was leaving her shaking, clinging to the warmth she could get from Shobek. Kasey looked up to meet Shobeks eyes, he gave a comforting smile; though worry exuded from every pore in his body. When Shobek finally opened his eyes, the faintest hint of the day was just starting to peek through the tree doorway. As expected, nothing attacked them. He quickly glanced down at the head that rested on his legs. Treating her like a cat, he dared not move. Not wanting to disturb Kasey's sleep. She was curled into herself, with her head resting on his thigh, her hair falling over her face slightly. Shobeks heart lept into his throat as he watched her sleep. She was paler than she used to be when she was on the living plane. A little thinner too. Though she had gained some muscle mass, her frame was still far too thin. He hated having to bring her down in hell and hated the fact that he lied about having to kill her mother to access all her powers. The small room that they decided to be their meeting place seemed to grow smaller at each minute. The plain wooden walls and wooden ground clashed with his aura of nobility. But it was convenient and there was a small chance of anyone overhearing them. And if anyone just happened to hear anything, they could kill them without an outburst. But each second in this room made Pyro itch with annoyance. Everything was plain and wooden. From the tables and chairs to the cabinet and the "couch" with a few pillows. Maybe it was from his living style, but touching any surface, even with gloves on, made him want to scrub the skin off his fingertips. After standing for at least forty-five minutes, Pyro finally watched as the black smoke approached him and started to take form, the figure straightened their scarf as their red eyes flicked up to meet his.
