My day at the office was boring and I couldn't help the thoughts of Marcus that wouldn't leave my head no matter how much I tried to push it away. I have been asking myself what the heck I did to him to deserve this, why he was suddenly this tough when we used to be best siblings, but the more I tried to figure out what happened, the more difficult everything seemed to be.

The sound of my ringing phone pulled my attention, but I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone, so I ignored whoever the caller was.

It was soon lunchtime, and as usual, I sent someone to deliver lunch to Aliyah who was now my girlfriend. I desperately wanted to see her, but I wasn't in the mood to see her like this, so it was best to stay here for now.

For a moment, I thought of calling him because I was worried about him, but dismissed the thoughts immediately. What if he ignores my call? I asked myself, and knowing he might want to be spaced, I decided not to call him.
