Chapter 34 - Through Thick and Thin

As the summit participants began to disperse, retreating to their rooms to rest and prepare for the evening's festivities, David Hendrix couldn't help but feel a sense of urgency.

He knew he needed to have a private word with Sienna, but their earlier interactions had left him feeling uneasy.

Determined to clear the air, he decided to make his way back to the VVIP suite they were supposed to share.

Upon entering the luxurious suite, David noticed that Sienna had not yet arrived. As the minutes turned into hours, it became increasingly apparent that she was not coming. Frustration and anxiety gnawed at him as he fought the urge to go searching for her.

A knock on the door interrupted his thoughts. A hotel staff member entered, carrying a tray of refreshments.

"Mr. Hendrix," she greeted, "I've brought you some refreshments."

David forced a polite smile. "Thank you."

As the staff member set the tray down, he seized the opportunity to ask, "Have you seen Ms. Hamilton?"
