“Did you ever plan on telling me?” Hannah snapped, tucking in the flowers she brought in the flower vase.

“I was thinking…"

“What were you thinking, Layla Carter?” She stopped arranging the flowers, firing a wicked glance at me. I swallowed.

“I'm sorry.”

“You'd better be…when is Henry coming back? You told him, didn't you?” She frowned.

“Yeah. Today.”

“Great. How long has this Cooper guy been here?” She questioned.

“He brought me here,” I muttered.

“Hmph.” She scoffed. “You guys have stuff to settle.” She walked towards the bed.

“Yeah…"

“You are not thinking of going back to him, are you?” She crossed her arms over her protruding stomach when she stopped in front of me.

“No, what makes you think so?” I asked.

“I see he's around you a lot these days.”

“It's just the circumstances…" I shrugged it off, even when I knew that she was right.

“Circumstances I see…"

“We're never getting back, Hannah,” I assured her and was quite certain of myself even when a part of me knew that was a lie.
