Chapter 31

Chance’s POV

It was as if the rogue Alpha had us running in circles trying to track him down. Alpha Hunter had his best trackers with us and we were still unsuccessful even getting a lead on which direction he was heading. I had never seen anything like this before and neither had Alpha Hunter. Between the two of us and our trackers we had them pointing in the direction of four different packs and we knew that couldn’t be the case, unless the pack of rogues was much larger than we thought.

All I wanted to do was get this over with so that I could bring my Luna home safely to me. It had only been a day and my wolf and I are sickened that we had sent her away, even though we knew it was best for her and her safety. But as we ran in circles trying to find the rogues, I’m starting to believe that I should have kept her close to me and something inside of me was telling me that she wasn’t safe where she was.

After a full day of hunting for the rogues we ended up back at my packhouse
