Willow’s POV Damon decided enough pack talk and moved me to the living room area where he had a slew of blankets and pillows set up on the oversized couch facing a television. “Get comfortable while I do the dishes and we will relax and watch a movie together.” Damon said as he walked back towards the table clearing it of any remains of the feast breakfast that he had prepared for us. I was now thankfully able to move some on my own accord and I snuggled into the blankets and fluffed some of the pillows to make myself comfortable. Looking around at the area, I could see that Damon must have grabbed every extra blanket and pillow that could possibly have been in the cabin, in hopes of making me feel comfortable. As I finally got relaxed, I closed my eyes and my mind went straight to Alpha Chance. What he would be doing right now, and wonder if he even knows I am missing. Or if he is still out with Alpha Hunter chasing after the big bad rogue Alpha. A part of me had to internally
Willow’s POV What did Damon mean about it being too late to save him? I could clearly see the good in his heart and knew if he just tried, he could overcome whatever it was she had on him. But first he needed to believe that he had something to fight for and that something was me. Looking into his eyes I asked him, “Am I not worth fighting for?” Damon’s eyebrows furrowed and I knew I had his attention and I knew this was the only thing that was going to save him was being with me. The Moon Goddess had said about the love I had to give and I was going to shower him with every ounce I had in me to save him. Even though a part of my heart was still at the Red Moon, I was doing this to save them too. “What are you saying?” Damon asked me, conflicted how to take what I just said to him. “Am I not worthy to be with you?” I now ask him not answering his question straight up. “You’re more then worthy.” Damon said and he tilted his head to the side looking at me now so confused. “T
Willow’s POV My blood began to boil as he assumed that I was his because of some stupid mate bond that has proven to me once again to be just a messed-up ruse by the Goddesses. If he thought that he had some kind of claim on me just because I was foolish enough to let him mark me, he had another thing coming. Derrick disappeared into the forest and Damon’s full attention was now on me as he tried to take another step towards me and I held my hands up and pulled from my source of magic within me. My hands began to surge with electricity as I said to him, “I am not yours. I am no one’s but my own.” Damon’s eyes began to glow red at that moment and through gritted teeth he says to me, “You are mine and you will be going with me.” In my hands I conjured up an orb of electricity and held it in front of me as I saw Damon’s eyes begin to glow a fire red as if there was a fire within him. Fear began to consume me because this was not the Damon that I had just mated with. This was more
Willow’s POV The children ran to me with open arms and I kneeled and welcomed their embrace. The feeling of being wanted and needed washed through me as their little arms wrapped around me. This was the first time I had ever been greeted by a pack like this and it tugged at my soul. Even if I was at odds with Damon, I was still the Luna of this pack and I was going to make sure that I gave them all the love and attention they all deserved. Once the children had their fill of me, they all ran off to play as some of the she wolves stood waiting to meet me. Before I moved to them, I turned to see where Damon had gone but he was nowhere in sight and I am sure attending to the situation at hand. “Luna.” I turned to see a she wolf that reminded me of myself. “Hello, I am Jessica, the Beta’s.” She paused for a brief second and then said, “Mate. I am to show you around and make you feel welcomed and at home.” “Thank you. My name is Willow and it is a pleasure to meet you.” I tell her
Willow POV After getting situated in the tent that was now to be home, I headed out to find Jessica to help me with my plan to get the children books and supplies to develop a curriculum to where the children would need to start. I had no knowledge of what they had already been taught and needed a starting point. I found Jessica helping a younger girl setting up a tent and I moved to them to help them myself. As I began to help them set up the tent I looked around and realized that everyone in the pack was either in their twenties or around my age or younger and I had to wonder where all the elders were. Once the tent was up, the young girl named Roxy thanked Jessica and I for helping her as she began to set up the inside and I asked Jessica if I could have a word with her. Jessica and I walked to the edge of the camp where we could watch everyone still setting up, but with a little privacy. “Where are all the elders?” I asked her and I watched as her facial features changed t
Damon’s POV That fucking bitch lied to me and Willow was paying for it. Watching her spill my tainted blood from her as it sizzles the ground in front of her makes me want to rip out the Moon Witches tongue for the lies that it had spilled to me. Willow was beginning to open my eyes to see that the Moon Witch was not my saving grace as she portrayed herself to be. It made no sense to me why she would want me to hurt my mate. She had to of known that this would happen if Willow had marked me as hers. Willow began to try and get herself up, but she was too weak on her own to stand. Gently, I helped her to her feet and I could see it was taking every bit of her strength to stay upright. I knew she was going to protest but I didn’t care as I picked her up into my arms. “I can walk.” She said just as I expected, but her eyes began to look heavy. “Baby girl, stay with me.” I said as I began to quickly move back towards camp. We didn’t have a real pack doctor but one of the she wol
Damon’s POV The drive felt like it took forever as I had to listen to the two of my men talking back and forth most of the trip about what an abomination it was to have witches mixed with wolves and how it was going to be a threat to our species. A part of me wanted to agree with them that we needed to extinguish them all before they continued to reproduce but a part of me knew that this had to be partially the doing of the Moon Witch and I had to wonder what she had up her sleeve by doing this. But Willow was a part of this abomination and if I would extinguish her kind she would never forgive me and I am sure she would leave me. By the time we had pulled back into camp the night was fading as the dawn threatened her appearance as the birds began to sing their morning melody. The majority of the pack was in their tents as a few of my men stood guard for any potential threat. Before we exited the SUV, I told my men there would be no talk of this to the other men until I decided wh
Chance’s POV Maps were scattered on the meeting room table as I continued to cross out areas that the search parties had been calling in that were clear of sight of the rogues. Only one sighting of a possible old camp had we found in the last couple of days since Willow disappeared into thin air without a trace. I knew in my heart that the rogue Alpha had her and I just prayed that she was still alive. I had gathered search parties from every local pack hoping that with more manpower we would be able to cover more ground and I could bring my Luna back home to me. Guilt plagued me knowing that I could have stopped all of this from happening if I had just spent the day with her as I had promised her. But I had put my role of Alpha above her wellbeing and didn’t return with Alpha Hunter until early morning hours the next day to find her missing. Beta Shawn had been out on patrol all night long that night with very little sleep and he too was blaming himself for not keeping the pack
