Chapter 41

Willow’s POV

The children ran to me with open arms and I kneeled and welcomed their embrace. The feeling of being wanted and needed washed through me as their little arms wrapped around me. This was the first time I had ever been greeted by a pack like this and it tugged at my soul. Even if I was at odds with Damon, I was still the Luna of this pack and I was going to make sure that I gave them all the love and attention they all deserved.

Once the children had their fill of me, they all ran off to play as some of the she wolves stood waiting to meet me. Before I moved to them, I turned to see where Damon had gone but he was nowhere in sight and I am sure attending to the situation at hand.

“Luna.” I turned to see a she wolf that reminded me of myself. “Hello, I am Jessica, the Beta’s.” She paused for a brief second and then said, “Mate. I am to show you around and make you feel welcomed and at home.”

“Thank you. My name is Willow and it is a pleasure to meet you.” I tell her
