Chapter 46

Willow’s POV

I was a prisoner in my own body, as I could hear everything going on around me as I came in and out of consciousness, but I couldn’t move or open my eyes. I began to wonder if this was what it was like being in a coma as my body fought off the dark magic trying to take over me.

When I heard the familiar witch doctor’s voice, I felt a bit relief knowing he was here and that he would be the one helping me through this. Marvin had been my doctor since birth and was the best witch doctor I knew. If anyone was going to help me pull through this, it was going to be him.

But once he began to chant, I could feel the dark magic inside of me stir as it desperately tried to latch onto my insides, but what scared me the most was hearing Damon struggle to breathe. I wanted Marvin to stop so that he didn’t hurt Damon and as I wished it, he did.
