Chapter 54

Willow’s POV

It wasn’t quite morning when we were awoken by one of Damon’s patrol men. Damon was needed and he told me to stay in bed and he was going to be right back. I rolled over and stayed in bed like he asked but after a few minutes of him being gone, I began to hear noises from outside of my tent that didn’t seem normal for this time in the morning.

Quickly, I got up and began to throw clothes on when the tent door threw open to see the she wolf that had helped take care of me. “We have been found, we need to move now, Luna.” Ashley said as she grabbed ahold of my hand and began to pull me out of the tent and towards the woods to the north.

Looking over my shoulder, I could see the chaos of everyone trying to gather a few things and follow in our direction. One of the mothers with three children was struggling and I moved to help her by picking up the second to the youngest child in my arms to carry her.
