Willow’s POV

It was crazy that when I had finally let myself love Alpha Chance and accepted his love that my heat instantly stopped. It was as if the Moon Goddess was trying to show me the way. As I lay in his arms, I finally felt like I was truly at home and that I never should have left. I stupidly fell for Damon and his damn dark magic that he had used on me to believe he was my mate and that he truly loved me and did all the right things to make me feel wanted. If Damon was my true mate, then Luna Rayne’s theory would have been the only thing that would have saved me, but that was in theory.
