Willow’s POV

Thankfully, Alpha Chance could feel how uncomfortable I was with Beta Shawn staring at me in Jess’s presence. I wondered how things were going between the two of them over the last two weeks while I was in heat. They looked like they had just been out for a run together, which was a good sign that their relationship was heading in the right direction, but the look he was just giving me was telling me that he wasn’t completely over what we had.
