Chapter 14

Ella’s POV

A loud boom made me jump closer into Hunters arms. “We have to get back to the cabin.” Hunter said before he let go of me and started to strip to shift. Hunter lowered himself once again for me to climb onto his back. I quickly got on his back with no hesitation this time. I grabbed ahold of him a little tighter this time in fear of the storm.

The sound of thunder rolled through the valley and scared me once again. Hunter took off towards the cabin once he thought I had a tight enough grip on him.

The rain started to come down faster causing it to sting as it hit my face. I buried my face into the back of Hunter’s neck to shield myself from the sting.

“Hold on tight Ella. The ground is getting slick with mud and wet leaves.” Hunter linked to me as I tighten my hold like he asked me to. I felt Hunter slide a few times, but he recovered quickly. I trusted Hunter and his wolf neither would let anything happen to me.
