Things had been going really well with training lately. Zane and Leonidas were both impressed with my progress. I learned how to use the fire both defensively and offensively like Doll had been able to in the beginning. I also learned how to intentionally direct it outwards. Today I had been working on how to intensify the heat index of the fire like Doll had done during her last fear.

I loved being able to wield magic. It was unlike anything else I had ever experienced. I also had two great mentors. It made me feel like I was actively able to contribute something positive towards our goal of taking on Asry.
