The day for the surgery arrived like a harsh wind. Hazel was very unsure how to feel, the fact that the fate of her grandmother's continued existence would be determined this very day. The car screeched to a halt at the hospital parking lot, and Lucy and Luke got out of the car at the same time, looking the epitome of a main character as they shut the doors in sync. Anna and Hazel were tucked into bed in the very same room she slept in anytime she was at the mansion. Perhaps it was third time here now, and all she could do was stare at the wall. Her mind was fully awake, all sleep seemed to have faded from her eyes suddenly and all she could think of now was that she was getting married tomorrow. Tomorrow? Scratch that, today!
