Bonus Chapter 18

Ria watched with her heart in her throat as Damien walked into the ring. His opponent was a burly man twice Damien’s size. Damien had somehow gotten her a seat in the front where she could see him clearly.

Unlike everyone who was shouting excitedly, Ria was muttering all kinds of prayers in her heart. She dropped her head and put her hands together as she prayed.

Damien chuckled as he looked at Ria from the corner of his eyes. He watched as the burly man who was his opponent bounced up and down as she got ready for the match.

More than any of his previous matches; Damien wanted this one to end as fast as possible. He could tell that Ria was sincerely scared. It was natural that she was scared but he wanted to take her away as quickly as possible.
