Chapter One Hundred and Forty Five

Elena rolled over on her bed. It was already another day. Twenty-four hours since she saw Matthew board the plane and go far away from her.

She had spent the rest of yesterday crying her eyes out and regretting saying those words she had said to him that she had to get a drink as she usually does whenever she was sad, only that the person who always rescued her, the one who always took care of her when she was drunk, was the main reason why she drank.

She groaned loudly and stretched her hands. Her head hurts badly and her stomach was gurgling loudly. She was hungover and felt like throwing up.

She stood up from her bed gently, trying not to upset her stomach more. She had drunk more than her usual limit and had no idea how she came back home or how she was able to get inside the house without her mom's knowledge.
