Chapter Sixty

“You haven’t been replying to my texts since last night? Is everything okay with you?” Craig asked as he fed Elena her chops, his brown eyeballs roaming around her face.

“Ohh. I totally forgot. I’ve been busy, and a lot is on my mind. I’m sorry.” She replied to him as she smiled, leaning to place a peck on his cheeks.

“Is Gaby okay with you? She has been acting out of the blue since yesterday, she didn’t come home, and she didn’t say anything about it.” He added as she leaned away, his eyes containing concern as he stared into space.

Elena’s brows earned a raise at his words, “she didn’t come home?”

“Nope. When I called, she said she was passing the night at James' place. Didn’t say anything than that.” He replied.

“I called her, and she said she’s with James. So she’s not lying about that for first.” Elena added.

Craig sighed before turning to face her, a small smile on his lips.
