Chapter Thirty Four

“Thank you so much for taking care of her.” Clara, Elena’s mom, said as the nurse helped her with Elena inside the car.

“You’re welcome. Just keep her warm and check on her from time to time.” The nurse said, bowing to her and offering a small smile before walking back inside the school.

They had called her from her office to tell her something was wrong and she had to rush here at the last minute. She was met with a pale daughter who was deep in her sleep and her hand clutching her lower stomach. She was given the scare of her life until the nurse said she had gotten better.

She knew her daughter was one with extreme period pains, and they’d complained at the hospital but were always told it was nothing serious, but she had never gotten to this extent before.
