Chapter Thirty

“Would you like to go first, or you’ll want me to go first?” Silver said, standing up from the couch and walking away.

Elena just laid there, her thoughts jumbled with her brain not thinking straight. She closed her eyes, her arms on her chest as she tried to let go of everything. She didn’t want to talk about Matthew with Silver, and she had just said that for a reason for coming to her place.

“Do you want yogurts or anything?” Silver yelled out from the kitchen.

“And some biscuits, yes!” Elena retorted, raising her voice a bit without opening her eyes.

She would let silver talk, tell her about what she had to, and free herself from everything. Matthew wasn’t the only friend she had, and maybe it was time she got close to all her other friends and let him live the best of his love life.

She opened her eyes as she heard silvers footsteps, sitting up immediately with her back straight and watching her friend till she set the tray on the table.
